We have officially entered one of favorite months for most movie nerds. But if Halloween isn't your cup of tea, I have some light-hearted picks for you this week that you can curl up on the couch and watch. Enjoy!
GILMORE GIRLS
I fell in love with Amy Sherman Palladino's writing when I watched the ill-fated and under appreciated series, Bunheads. I had always heard of Gilmore Girls, but I wrote it off as a silly show. However, after I figured out it was the same writer as Bunheads, I knew I had to watch this series. And now I can relive the whole series from the beginning.

When I watched this film when I was younger, I knew I liked it because of the silly humor, but I don't think I understood just how satirical and fantastic this movie was. It's the ultimate Star Trek film, and features a super young, but insanely funny Justin Long.
THE PRODUCERS
Forget the remake with Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane, this is the fabulous Mel Brook's original. It's not as music heavy, but the opening night of their "doomed" musical, Springtime for Hitler, will have you in stitches.
