OPEN WINDOWS Trailer Will Make You Keep Your Webcam Covered

There's two names that I always associate with Fantastic Fest: Nacho Vigalondo and Elijah Wood. Vigalondo, for those that aren't in the know, directed the excellent TIMECRIMES (CRONOSCRIMES) and EXTRATERRESTRIAL (EXTRATERRESTRE), and now he finally has another movie out with fellow Fantastic Fest legend, Elijah Wood.

Elijah Wood seems to be wanting to just make weirder projects, between WILFRED, MANIAC and this movie, it seems that he's succeeded. The creepy online stalker/overreaching surveillance aspect of the movie might not seems as interesting as they have been tackled by other movies in the recent past. But given Vigalondo's filmography, he knows how to elevate movie tropes to something great and this movie will hopefully pile on the plot twists.

OPEN WINDOWS is directed by Nacho Vigalondo, stars Elijah Wood and Sasha Grey, will be released sometime in late 2013.
