While the original THOR gave us Loki, it definitely had a scope issue. Much like the first IRON MAN, once you step back from it, you realize there's not much that actually happens in the movie. I have been eagerly anticipating the second THOR if only because I want to see the world expanded and it looks like this is what will happen in the sequel. Thanks to YouTube's Geek Week, via Screen Crush, we have the newest trailer which was premiered at Comic-Con last month. Check it out after the break.
A few brief thoughts: Obviously, I'm all about the Loki parts, but I am actually pretty happy that Jane Foster (Portman) will be playing a bigger part in this movie. She was instrumental in Thor's change and we didn't really get to see too much of her apart from looking dreamily at Thor. Though, we didn't see him at all, it was so good to hear Christopher Eccleston as the Dark Elf Lord, Malekith. Also, I'm glad Lady Sif and the Warriors Three will be coming back, but I hope that Sif doesn't become a lame jealous woman in light of Jane's coming to Asgard. Check out the full synopsis below:
