It's smack-dab in the middle of the summer; the kiddos are out of school, the AC bill is getting higher, IPAs, and lagers are now the in-season beers. What better way to celebrate summer than to look at some road trip movies? Check out three of pick after the break.
Remember when your parents wouldn't let you see this show? This movie is actually one of the better TV show movies by managing to take the characters out of their comfort zone but still maintaining the spirit of the show.
This movie has become that cliché movie that people like to cite whenever they say that they like "indie" films but it's nevertheless an amazing movie. Based on Che Guevara's diary during the time that he took a massive road trip through most of South America, it has a great performance by Gael Garcia Bernal, one of my favorite actors today.
Y TU MAMÁ TAMBIÉN
As I type this I realize this might as well have been the Gael Garcia Bernal edition, but here's another movie that he stars in. This is the second best known Alfonso Cuarón movie after the PRISONER OF AZKABAN it follows a pair of young men trying to impress an older, super sexy woman and convince her to join them on a made up road trip.
