Back in the days of me actually being into video games, I got Silent Hill. That was a horrible mistake since to this day, it's one of the freakiest and scariest video games I've played. Cue to the when the SILENT HILL movie came out. It was a decent enough movie captured the tone of the game well. It felt like I was one of the few people that actually enjoyed it. Now thanks to Machinima's YouTube channel, we have the trailer for the sequel, SILENT HILL: REVELATION. Check out the trailer after the jump.
I'm not going to lie, you guys, I'm pretty tired of the "alarm" sound in trailers, but the visuals look pretty crazy here. I'm hoping that the movie is able to improve on the creepy atmosphere without the weirdo cult stuff, I see enough of the iconic monsters like Pyramid Head to get me excited. Bonus! It has Sean Bean and Kit Harrington, it's like winter is coming to Silent Hill (I'm so sorry for that).
SILENT HILL: REVELATION is directed and written by Michael J. Bassett. It stars Adelaide Clemens, Sean Bean, Kit Harrington, Carrie Anne-Moss and Radha Mitchell. It comes out October 26 in wide release and in 3D.
