To completely contrast the lameness of the acting in the previously posted clip, we have the badassery of the new trailer that shows off some 3D shots that will play in front of the new modern masterpiece, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES.
So, this trailer isn't that different from the previously released theatrical trailer, but it does have some great action shots that are new. The shot of Optimus flying through the city shooting Tentacle-atron at the end of the trailer is a particularly amazing one. I guess this goes to show that if Michael Bay has to have restraints, you can actually see what is going on. At least we can now see the claims that the action is better this time around.
TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON comes out June 29th, 2011. It is directed by Michael Bay and stars Shia LaBeouf, Tyrese Gibson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Josh Duhamel
