Trailer for the hotly anticipated GREEN WITH ENVY is up

The kid in me has been waiting to see this movie for a long time about a struggling couple in the big city!!  The fact that Jason Segel is starring as well as Amy Adams is just a bonus! Seriously, this GREEN WITH ENVY has been on top of my fall 2011 movies for a long time, and I'm happy to present this trailer to you. Check out the trailer below.




Obviously this is the trailer for the new Muppets movie that Jason Segel has been working on for sometime.  I'm really glad that someone who seems to have a great passion for the material and the craft of puppetry is working on this. Ever since I saw the little section of Dracula: The Musical in FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL, I was curious to see if he'd do something like this again.  Here's a synopsis from the press release from /Film:

On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. With secret, signature, celebrity cameos, “The Muppets” hits the big screen Nov. 23, 2011.
